Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel is on the search for love and she's even planning to create her own dating app to help her get back into the dating game.

"I'm single and dating," Frankel told People. "[I'm] utterly available."

"I dabble," she said of using dating apps. "I'm researching doing my own dating app so I have to test the waters."

Frankel was first married to Peter Sussman in 1996 but divorced him the following year. In March 2010, she married Jason Hoppy and gave birth to their daughter Bryn in May of the same year. She filed for divorce in January 2013 though it was only finalized four years after the couple separated. Since then Frankel has dated several men, including Dennis Shields.

While she remains hopeful to find someone in the future, she's also loving the single life.

"The best part about being single is that the future is a fortune cookie," the Bravo star explained. "We just don't know."

Of course there's also a downside. "Dating is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get," she said.

Meanwhile, Frankel has her hands full with her Skinnygirl empire, RHONYC, as well as her upcoming Bravo series, Bethenny and Fredrik, in which she teams up with pal Fredrik Eklund to to renovate and flip properties. Get a sneak peek by watching the trailer below:

Bethenny and Fredrik premieres February 6 at 10/9c on Bravo.
