Ramona Singer is in legal hot water. The Real Housewives of New York City star is being sued by a former employee, who claims that the reality TV star underpaid and mistreated her, as well as scammed Bravo by billing the network for clothes that she already owned or eventually returned.

According to The Blast, Lisa Taubes, who worked for Singer from January 2016 to December 2017 by doing marketing and branding for Singer and her clothing company, RMS Fashions, was asked by the RHONY star to submit false receipts to Bravo for clothes. The lawsuit states, "Specifically, Defendants asked Ms. Taubes to purchase designer clothes for the filming of Ms. Singer's show, and instructed Plaintiff to submit receipts to Bravo Cable Network for reimbursement and then asked Ms. Taubes to return the clothes for refund."

Taubes, who also claims Singer told her to submit fake receipts for clothes she already owned, is now seeking the wages she claims she was owed and is suing for damages in excess of $150,000. The lawsuit alleges that Singer fired Taubes and tried to force her into signing a non-disclosure agreement.

Meanwhile, Singer claims she is not aware of the lawsuit.

"I have no knowledge of any lawsuit," she told Page Six. "Her company did some work for my company. The relationship ended and her company was paid in full for their services."
