The cast of Celebrity Big Brother
has been revealed and the 11 houseguests will compete for three-and-a-half weeks to win the grand prize.
Meet the Cast of Celebrity Big Brother>>>
One of them is Brandi Glanville, a 45-year-old reality TV star from Los Angeles. She is the oldest woman in the cast.Who Is Brandi?
Brandi is best known as a former cast member of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
. She also became a bit of a tabloid star as she was married to actor Eddie Cibrian, but they got divorced after he had an affair with country singer LeAnn Rimes (who he's now married to).Reality Competition History
Brandi has appeared on many reality competition shows, some with other Celebrity Big Brother
HGs. She was on the seventh season of The Celebrity Apprentice
where she finished in fourth place. She was on the same team as Keshia Knight Pulliam, though Keshia was the first person fired by Omarosa's former boss, Donald Trump. Brandi also appeared on the FOX cooking show My Kitchen Rules
and she was a panelist on RuPaul's game show Gay for Play
in an episode that also featured Ross Mathews.
But perhaps her best preparation was as a housemate on Celebrity Big Brother
in the U.K. in the summer of 2017. She was the fourth person voted out and the format is completely different from the U.S., but it does give her experience living in a Big Brother
house and being filmed 24/7.
Brandi on Celebrity Big Brother
Despite having appeared on the U.K. version of the show, Brandi doesn't seem familiar with the American version at all. She claims her strategy is simply to be herself and see what happens. And because the U.K. format is so different (the public votes for eviction, not your fellow HGs), she may have incorrect ideas about what the game is.
