Vanessa Grimaldi has moved, revealing that she has a new boyfriend eight months after calling it quits with Bachelor
star Nick Viall. Without disclosing the identity of the man she's currently dating, the 30-year-old special education teacher gushed about him on Dean Unglert's podcast Help! I Suck at Dating.

"I always wanted to find someone... who's gonna be a great father, someone who's gonna be a great husband, someone who's family-oriented," she told Unglert in the chat. "I wanted all those things, but the people that I was dating either had some of it but they didn't have all of it."
"I don't care if you have a million followers," she continued. "I don't care. I'd rather you not have Instagram. I'd rather you not know I was ever on the show."
Girmaldi was Viall's chosen woman on The Bachelor season 21. Following their engagement on the show, Viall competed on Dancing with the Stars while Grimaldi hit pause on her teaching career in Canada to be with her fiance in Los Angeles. The pair had no immediate plans to tie the knot and admitted that they were struggling to adjust with their relationship post-Bachelor. The couple was also often the subject of breakup rumors. Last August, Viall and Grimaldi finally called it quits five months after their proposal on TV.
According to Grimaldi, her new man "is not related to Bachelor-world at all" and not involved in showbiz or special education industries.
"Again, like, I don't know where this is going to lead, but I do know I appreciate all his qualities. I feel like I'm a much better person when I'm with him," she said. "I'm just very lighthearted, and I'm focused on the right things and I'm not distracted by the fake world that we could be a part of."
The Bachelorette season 14 premieres May 28 at 8/7c on ABC.
