Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham still don't have anything concrete when it comes to details about their wedding but they're certain about one thing. The engaged couple will be picking a date that will not interfere with filming of The Bachelor--- whether or not they opt for a televised wedding.

"We're still in the beginning stages of the wedding planning," Luyendyk Jr. told People.

According to the race car driver, even if they decide to get married "privately," he and Burnham "want to plan [the wedding] around The Bachelor schedule" so that  "the producers that were filming The Bachelor could still be there."

"It would either [be] in September or after they get done filming, which is in the middle of November," he added. "We are bouncing around ideas and dates, and [Burnham's] mom has been super helpful with venues, so we are just getting to it."

The pair got engaged during the After the Final Rose special, which aired the day after The Bachelor season 22 finale in which Luyendyk called off his engagement with his chosen woman, Becca Kufrin. Recently Burnham uprooted her life to move in with Luyendyk in his home in Arizona.

Amid reports that Luyendyk and Burnham are heavily pushing for a TV wedding, Burnham is trying not to get too invested in the preparations.

"I don't want to put a lot of planning into it or a lot of effort, because I think it will stress me out," she People, adding that she and Luyendyk are "kind of just looking at venues all over the place" and "trying to figure out where we want to get married."

Meanwhile, the most challenging aspect of planning the wedding remains to be their ever-expanding guest list.

"The more and more we get our list together, the larger the wedding is getting," Luyendyk Jr. admitted. "Right now we are sort of going through the guest list and it is already at 250."

"We would definitely want to just escape and elope, but we know that our parents wouldn't want that," he said.
