The new Fall 2017 season is here, and with it are a bunch of new shows. Some will succeed, but others will fail. From multiple new military dramas to sitcoms to superheroes, there's something for everyone. Predicting which new shows will be the biggest hits is never easy, but here are three that seem likely to succeed.

Young Sheldon (Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on CBS)

The Big Bang Theory is still the most-watched comedy on TV, so it seems almost inevitable that this prequel will succeed. Being paired with Big Bang will also help it get strong ratings, so it's hard not to bet on this being the #1 new comedy of the season.

SEAL Team (Wednesdays at 9/8c on CBS)

Another CBS show, this military procedural fits nicely in the network's mold. Take a likable leading man who used to play a vampire (David Boreanaz) and surround him with a decent cast, a dash of emotion and tons of action. That's the formula that allowed Hawaii Five-0 to still be on the air (remember when Alex O'Loughlin was in Moonlight?), so SEAL Team is likely to be around for a while.

Dynasty (Wednesdays at 9/8c on the CW)

The overall new Fall line-up is pretty mediocre, but this reboot fits perfectly in the CW's wheelhouse. It has a lot of Gossip Girl-style traits with a pretty cast and soap opera storytelling. It also helps that the CW needs some fresh blood with the ends of The Vampire Diaries and Reign, the upcoming end of The Originals, and low-rated bubble shows like The 100, iZombie, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Jane the Virgin.
