The critics have spoken and the nominees for the 23rd Critics' Choice Awards are here. On the television side, a lot of fresh faces made the cut including multiple nominates for Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale, Netflix's GLOW, Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and CBS All Access' The Good Fight. It's clear that streaming services are not a fad.

For Drama, the usual suspects like Game of Thrones, Stranger Things and This Is Us are all nominated. American Gods from Starz, The Handmaid's Tale and The Good Fight all picked up three nominations each. Perhaps the most pleasantly surprising nomination comes for Asia Kate Dillon from Showtime's Billions in Supporting Actor for playing a gender non-binary character.

Stranger Things Renewed for Season 3>>>

In Comedy, new shows dominated, with the '80s female wrestling comedy GLOW leading the pack with four nominations. The new Amazon dramedy The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel also did well with three nominations. The most noticeable snubs on the whole list come from the fact that Emmy champion Veep didn't receive a single nomination, not even for star Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

The Limited Series categories are predictably filled with Big Little Lies and Feud: Bette and Joan. Netflix broke through with Godless and the mockumentary American Vandal, while Evan Peters picked up a surprise nomination for American Horror Story: Cult.
