French Stewart is back as convicted murderer Paul Triff in NCIS season 15 episode 15, and part of the deal the team makes with him is to give him a 48-hour furlough in his former residence, now McGee's apartment. Check out a sneak peek of the team at the crime scene:

Torres is speaking for everyone when he says the way Jessica was killed is not how he wants to go out. McGee reports that no one saw anything before the explosion, and there are no traffic cameras in the immediate area. While Bishop hopes that Abby can work her magic to figure out what happened, Torres already knows: someone was targeting Jessica.

The blast didn't originate from the fuel line or the engine, but it happened underneath the driver's seat, a sure sign of a car bomb. When did he become an expert on car bombs? He made them when he was undercover.

What this clip doesn't show is what happened to Jack after she was knocked unconscious by the explosion.
