Mike Wolfe of American Pickers
guest stars as himself in NCIS
season 15 episode 17. In "One Man's Trash," Gibbs and Ducky think that an antique war stick they see on television could be the missing murder weapon to a 16-year-old cold case, but are they right?

Meet Ducky's graduate assistant in this clip:
Ducky brings over his graduate assistant, Kasie Hines, to meet "the hardest working special agents in law enforcement," just as McGee, Torres and Bishop are complaining about not having a working stapler. (Kasie can figure out who's who on her own.)
Ducky's publisher is expecting his first five chapters on Monday, and according to Kasie, whom he hired to keep him on schedule, they're nowhere close. Not only do they have a ton of notes to transcribe, but she suspects that his chapter on unsolved cases will need a big rewrite if a theory turns out to be right.
There was a ceremonial Viking war stick on American Pickers
that Gibbs and Ducky think may be the missing weapon to an unsolved case. Ducky pulled a single wooden spike from a young petty officer's skull 16 years ago, and they never traced it to a weapon -- until now. Why McGee Needs to Move out of His Apartment Immediately on NCIS>>>
Kasie's most excited to meet Gibbs and greets him with a hug. (Ducky wonders if her work on his book has made her "a little too familiar" with the team.)

Mike has no interest in selling the piece because it's been too lucky for them. Since he's had it, they've had incredible luck finding things. But since it may not have been very lucky for someone 16 years ago, they have to take it from him (at least for now.) NCIS
